The station was designed to revive the pleasure of listening to radio as mainstream radio in Sri Lanka, in recent years, became too monotonous. Listeners were able to predict the music they would hear, and such continuous repetition has left them appalled at the state of most stations.

 

The ramification of this resulted in most listeners choosing to listen to their own collection of songs via IPods, CDs and various other mediums; robbing them of the surprise, suspense and the fun in listening to a radio station.

 

Radio Xtasy strives to provide current chart toppers fused with hits from the last decade. Our station will not be influence by sponsors to generate revenue. It will always and forever remain a free radio station that is only influenced by our audience’s taste, feel and feedback.
